An unlucky bounce on a deep throw to Michael Crabtree ends up with an interception by Marcus Gilchrist in the end zone. Lamar Jackson still doesn't have a passing touchdown as a starter.
Ravens should have played field goal game. They let a quarterback with soft arm and receiver with no speed try to go deep and make a play. Crabtree is not a vertical threat.
Oakland takes a knee, and a pretty dull half ends with the Ravens up 13-10. Lamar Jackson has nearly as many pass attempts (18) as he did last week (19). And after 61 rushing attempts vs. Cincy, they have just 10 today -- for 64 yards.
The Ravens continue to move the ball under Lamar Jackson, but they're not controlling clock the way they did last week. He's looked uncertain in his judgement, though the second interception was bad luck more than a bad decision.
Tony Jefferson (ankle) has been ruled out of today's game. More responsibility for Chuck Clark and Anthony Levine Sr., who didn't practice fully this week.
Jared Cook has to reach for a 16-yard touchdown, but he brings it in. Chuck Clark was wayyy behind in coverage. Raiders set to draw within a field goal.
Cook was so open that he moon walked, fell backward, fell on his butt, ate a baloney sandwich, smoked a cigarette and drank a coke before the Ravens got close to him on that touchdown.
Michael Crabtree with an 8-yard TD reception on third down. That has to feel good for the former Raiders WR, not that he'd ever admit it. With 11:16 left, it's Ravens 27, Raiders 17.
If you added up the number of plays the Raiders have run in their past six drives, it still wouldn't surpass the 30 the Ravens have run in their past two. That's old school.
Weird standoff between Marshal Yanda and an official as he leaves the field for some reason. Yanda angry as an athletic trainer approaches. He's in the medical tent now.
Marshal Yanda had to go under the tent, for concussion examination. He was furious. Did not want to come off the field and would not let trainer approach him initially.
The Ravens defense has put this game away. Matthew Judon got the sack and forced fumble, Terrell Suggs got the recovery and touchdown, and fans get to leave early.
