Buck notes: Cashner had cortisone shot and may be in line to make his next start; Bundy’s season is under-appreciated; Sunday’s starter will be known Saturday night; Fry is benefiting from this. #Orioles
The first pitch of Luis Ortiz' first big league start is a 92 mph fastball for a called strike. The third was an automatic double to left field by Yoan Moncada. It's misting, and the Orioles and White Sox are playing.
Chris Davis got caught in between on a chopper down the 1B line and decided to try and take it himself with Ryan Cordell coming down the line. Ortiz didn't make it in time, and neither did he. The Orioles trail 3-0
The Orioles have arisen from their slumber and made a game of this. Corbin Joseph's bases-loaded single and a run-allowing error by the White Sox have made this a two-run game. White Sox still lead, 7-5, but O's are still threatening in the 7th. #orioles
Luis Ortiz left with a left hamstring strain. He said he had something similar earlier this year in Biloxi but this one doesn’t seem as bad. Naturally disappointed, and said he was locked in before it grabbed on him. #Orioles
